A sprint research program funded by New Balance.
What is TrackademicLab?
A research program at the forefront of running analysis and footwear innovation. We partner with the University of Tasmania and New Balance to produce high level insight into speed, how it’s produced, and how we can influence it at the individual level.
Where is TrackademicLab based?
Our major testing hubs are in Hobart (Australia) and Berlin (Germany). We test at tracks throughout Australia and Germany during their respective summers.
What does testing involve?
Our testing is largely designed to be embedded within normal training sessions. Athletes have their movement patterns analysed, and have the opportunity to try the next wave of sprint footwear that isn’t yet on the market.
How can I get involved?
For now, the only way to get involved is register your interest and join our general testing pool. Regardless of where you’re from or what your ability level is, we’ll be in touch if a suitable opportunity comes up.
Are you taking on new athletes for coaching?
Not currently.
